I'm engaged! Planning to have the wedding next April. Since I'm in college money is tight especially with other bills. I'm working extra hours so I can save money to afford the wedding. My fiancé has medical bills he needs to pay off so his income is also tight. If it comes down to it, I'll push the wedding back. Anyone have any suggestions on frugal ideas please let me know.

puppies are now 7 wks old. Found out today that Edi's name means Enhanced Defense Intelligence. I knew J got the name from a game, but I didn't think it would be that. All the puppies know their names. So far all their personalities are similar to Ming. People-orientated. Loves to be held and cuddled. Bark minimally. Smart. Traits from Toby: fur and curled over tails. Two puppies with apple shaped heads. The other four look more like Ming. They are all potty trained; using their pee pads and junk.

Switched them to solid food. Still supplementing with the canned puppy food in the mornings and they still nurse sometimes. If Ming lets them of course.

They are roaming the house now, but are limited to my bedroom at  night. They all have collars on with bells for safety reasons. Pink for girls. Red for Little Guy and blue for Tucker.

Chew toys are everywhere. They really like this little bunny I found at Walmart. It's a crinkling cat toy. Got them some yam chews, toy sized dentastix, balls, and small loofa dogs.
Although they do enjoy the toys, my feet, toes in particular, seem to be preferred.

They are getting used to my brother's not girlfriend's kids. A 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. Issiah is good with the puppies and careful. I'm glad he understands they aren't toys and need to be handled with care. Ireland has tried to poke and pull of them. Tried. NOT succeeded. I discouraged Heather from allowing Ireland to hold the puppies until she's a little older and less likely to hurt them. We're working to show her how to pet gently on Ming first. Mingy loves the kids.

Not looking forward to them leaving.

J got a Pomeranian puppy. He's 4 months old and tiny! He's about 4 pounds and chocolate colored. J named him "toby". It was going to be some long name that no one would remember. Anyway, he's a big fluff ball.

I got a Chinese Crested puppy. She's also about 4 months old. (A week older than Toby to be exact.) She's a hairy hairless; gray skinned with pink skin on her belly to neck. She's a beauty. First thing my mom says when she walked in the door and saw her: "Is that a rat?!" Ming was kinda hiding behind the couch. She's about 9 pounds, so she'd be a big rat.

J is working on housebreaking Toby. He still is using the training pads, but he's been doing good. Ming is litter boxed trained. The breeder I got her from litter boxed trained her because Ming's naked. (She now has clothes. Soon to be a lot of clothes!)

i got back from vacation yesterday. it was awesome. we didnt get to go to florida, but we saw some really cool thing. the first kfc, gracleand, elvis's birth place, gatlynburg aqauirium, st louis city museum and aquarium, loretta lynn's ranch and home, elvis museum, casey jones museum, tulepo car museum, a small out-of-the-way museum, an antique cathedral, st louis arch, and a lot of small southern towns. i like the southern hospitalilty. they were all very nice ppl. the nicest hotel we stayed at was one in a really tiny town. it was like $30 a night adn they offered free breakfeast. kinda sad since the most expensive one we stayed at paled in comparison. although they had more on their free breakfest stuff.

i shouldnt have left bud in charge of the animals. my room was a mess when i got home. the living room too. the litter boxes were full. and the cats lost weight and gaara lost weight. i had to pick gaara up to tell he lost a few  pounds, but it was noticable on a few of the cats that are lower on the pecking order. bunbun for example and jon bon jovi. vergil seemed to lose on a tiny bit. im thinking bud only fed them once a day instead of twice a day like theyre used too. sugarplum didnt lose any, it looked like he gained a bit. he is of course outside so he probably has a couple different ppl that feed him. next time im gonna leave gaara at a kennel. that way i know he'll get fed twice a day, excercised and handled. im just glad i didnt come home and he'd eaten the gerbils and rats. btw the gerbil and rats are fat. i left them too much food. ^^;
